“ Wir hatten wieder, wie die anderen Male, einen sehr schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen und passendem Wein. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. ”
“ Wir haben während unseres Aufenthaltes hier die Gelegenheit genutzt ein weiteres Slow Food Restaurant kennenzulernen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Slow Food bedeutet nicht unbedingt kreative Küche. Hier ist das anders. Wir haben uns für das 4 Gang Überraschungsmenü entschieden. Alle Gänge haben uns gut gefallen und haben prima geschmeckt. Überraschend ist die Verwendung von fermentiertem Gemüse (u.a. Spargel). Für uns neu war das ausgezeichnete Gurkeneis in der sehr schönen Vorspeisenvariation. Wir wünschen den Betreibern Erfolg und kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder vorbei. ”

Radebeul is an attractive spot for aficionados of good food and wine, with its lovely vineyard settings and creative cuisine. Gaumenkitzel is a small, authentic establishment run by a husband-and-wife team, with excellent and personal service. As vegetarians, we were attracted by the offer of an enticing multiple-course vegetarian menu. The food is quite tasty and presented well, garnished with summer herbs and flowers. We had an enjoyable evening, certainly on par with establishments in higher price categories and more renown. Particularly for a special evening whilst on holiday or a festive occasion, very recommended! ”
